| Flintsword finished 20th out of 372 tonight in a NLHE WPO warm-up tourney tonight over at pokerpages. Although he will probably tell you that he is disappointed with his play, I'm here to say great job! Take what you learned tonight and build on it. You picked up some great experience tonight. | ||

| That's great flint. Sounds like you made the $$ with that many folks. I am getting my feet wet at NL tourny's now too, so it is an inspiration to see success from a fellow UPF member. Well done! | ||

| I couldn't say thanks with "Congratulations Flintsword" as the subject line, ... But here are the basic stats on the tournament Big_Slick was mentioning. These tournaments are the ***cool & challenging*** pokerpages WPO qualifier freerolls. (http://www.bugsysclub.com/club/poker/wpo-2003.htm) You enter round one (250 - 250 players) during the week and try to be in the top ten to qualify for the weekend round 2. Make the top ten (or is that 15 ...) of the round 2 and you qualify for the Final Round 3 tournament (predict 500 players). The round 2 has some $$ in it, but the real prize is the first place at round 3: Sponsorship for the WPO next year ($10,000 entry fee paid, airfare, hotel, etc.) LOL, ... Then all you have to do is win the WPO ... The Devilfish (www.thedevilfish.com) won't mind the competition ... "Cough, cough". All I can say is that the playing quality in these online tournaments is high and hotly contested. It is also free at the round one level. You can buy in to the round 2 level (minimal cost). I have enjoyed the games a lot and Big_slick has had good results. You can see "God" play (what a name!) and no, he doesn't win every time ... Say hi to Russ, (name excalibruss), a friendly player. Almost social, but watch out, the knives are out in this twice daily tournament. flintsword | ||

| Flintsword... I think I'm reading your name wrong (it's my left handed- left brained thing). Is it "Flint Sword" or "Flints Word"? I just thought it was Flints Word since this was a forum, lol. So if you've been wondering why I've been referring to you as "FW", now you know. | ||

| It is flintsword, a nickname play on sword and word, ... as in "the word that cuts to the bone" and flint is a sharp, cutting rock, describing my temperment when I got the nickname. A rock that can cut: My kind of poker name ... :) flintsword | ||
