| How do you calculate your ev in this situation? (I'm trying to evaluate all your outs on let it ride) Okay let it ride, I was trying to calculate your EV in this situation **Dealt 3 suites above 10** So i'm thinking 1.9% for the backdoor straight 5.9% for the backdoor flush and 55% for 10's or better giving a overall 63% or 1.58 to 1 chance of winning anything. Assuming that's roughly close I totally forgot that if a card hits on the 1st down card that and it is above a 10 that doesn't pair your cards (i.e. you have AK10s and a Q hits, you now have an extra 3 outs to pair the Q giving you 12 outs for 10's or better now how do you factor that in to the overall ev of that situation? | ||

| Yes, you must add the chance of a pair coming that is not one of your pairs. You also need to subtract the cases where you make both a straight and a flush...because you have counted them twice. Then you need to weight your wins in term of payouts for each vs buy in. | ||
