| Ok this a humerous posts so no real need to get your calculators out. Something happened playing online at party today that really spun me out. To put things in context my real name is Ben Nicholas online I call myself Pasty11. I was happily playing away when directly opposite me someone sat down with the handle bnicholas. I was shocked and had to spend at least 5-10 minutes assertainf that this person didnt know me and wasnt havin a laugh at my expense. they said their real name was Brian Nicholas. Anyway it distracted me so much I decided to leave the table. Just wondered if anyone else had experienced anything like this. | ||

| All the time. Attend a large university search its directory and you will find tonnes of people with the same first innitial and last name. At U of Waterloo there was a major fiasco when somebody tried to send an email to Kevin Hare and it instead went to Kathryn Hare, an inportant prof. Of course it was an email that starter off: "Hey Mother****er!" Years ago I looked online for people who shared my first and last names...neither is terribly common. There is somebody with my name who writes manuals for air traffic controllers, one who is a vice president at a telecom, one here, one there. Lots and lots of people have my exact name. Now running into somebody with your first initial and last name isn't that difficult to do. Sure, it is rare, but it wouldn't throw me for too huge a loop. | ||
