| First, there's no hard-fast rules in Hold Em. In general, however, big cards (A, K, Q, J) and pocket-pairs like heads-up, because you have less of a chance of being out-drawn and will win more often. Drawing-hands (open-end str8s and flush-draws) like multi-way pots better, because the pot is *usually* laying you better odds to make your draw... in other words, there's a bigger pay-off each time you do make the draw to pay for all of the times you don't make it. | ||
