Has anyone else got an account at Paradise ? Did they recieve the email about if you deposit money on Sat 10th May you will recieve a 25% bonus ?

Am i right in thinking that if i then deposit $400 and get a free $100 i can just withdraw the $400 ? It says i have to play minimum of 100 raked hands to cash out the $100, which i will do in no time.

Thanks to fantastic advice i get here i have already got over $400 in my account so can i just deposit $400 tomorrow get my free $100 and then take out the $400 ? I always think that if something seems too good to be true it usually is, can anyone see how i may lose out on this promotion ( other than losing all my money by poor play ? )

Cheers
Chase

Hey Chase,
Even if you already have money in your account, if you deposit $400 to receive the bonus, you MUST play a certain amount of hands before the bonus is rewarded to you. It doesn't matter if you are taking out money that was previously in your account. (if you deposit $400, and make any withdrawls whatsoever, the offered bonus will be null
and void).

Hi,
There is no catch. I deposit money to receive bonuses all the time. I was just explaining it to you completely, that's all.
You were under the impression that you could withdrawl the money that was already in your account 'cause you thought it had no bearing on the "new $400 that you were going to be depositing", but it does.(no withdrawl transactions can take place UNTIL you play the required # of hands.

Just to make sure I'm reading this entirely right. If I deposit $400, then play in 100 games at the 0.50/1.00 tables, I will be able to cash out up to the full amount?

They have had my business for about 2 months in which time i have turned my measly $50 into over $700 wooo hoooo !!!!

Also Schuster you have to play in 100 raked games minimum rake $1, though if you play in the $1-2 or above doesnt take long.

The only catch was...they appreciate your business and want to keep giving you positive incentives to stay with them, that's all. No bad catch whatsoever!
Just keep booking those big wins. ( Good for you,Chase).

This may be a bit late but...

I just want to point out that the rake must reach at least $ 1,00. This is not mentioned in the e-mail or on the PP homepage, but I e-mailed support about this. (I had to rephrase my question a couple of times before they would give me a straight answer). The reply:

"Hello
You will be told how many more hands are required when you attempt to cash out through the Cashier screen. The minimum rake for hands to be counted is a $1 rake.
The bonus that was given to you was the special promotion of a 25% deposit bonus today. It is not part of the pending credit.
Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
Best Regards,
Lisa,
Paradise Poker Support"

So if you play at limits 0.50/1.00 - 1/2 you may have to play alot of hands to qualify.

"You will be told how many more hands are required when you attempt to cash out through the Cashier screen".

Has anyone tried this? I would go crazy if I tried to cash out and be missing two hands to qualify and thus loose my bonus. Sounds strange that you actually have to go trough the cashout procedure just to know where your at. Im using a pen and paper to keep track.

What exactly do they mean by "playing" a hand? At the 1/2 limit I really don't play many $ 20 pots all the way to the showdown. If I fold my SB and the pot reaches $ 20, have I then "played" the hand?

Well, that was my first post here, I have been lurking for a while now and I think this forum is great. Friendly and helpfull and without all the personal attacks found on RGP. WTG.

A side note: English is not my first language, so if you think the spelling and grammar is a bit off, it probably is.
