What are the odds on the outcome and who is the favorite if the flop K-10-4 and one person had trip 10's and the other person has AQ suited with the K-10?

I'm assuming you mean that the K and 10 are the same suit as the A and Q, and that the 4 is a different suit. After putting it into the calculator the set of 10s is a 66.16% favorite to win, or roughly 2 to 1. The Ace suited dog needs to get 1.95 to 1 pot odds to continue.

Are you using a special calculator to obtain these odds?

Bill A. asked about the calculator so here it is:

I thought the pair of tens was a big favourite but indeed it works out to being a big edge at two to one favourite. Something to keep in mind when you have a flush draw Axs against someone who has indicated a pocket pair or there is a suspected set on the flop.

More important, if you have a set and someone is on the flush draw, this should make you feel good.

The odds are greatly in favour of the trip tens. The reason for this is that the flush draw with a gutshot is already a less than 50% to make his hand and if he doesn't then he loses. Even if he makes his hand, the trip tens has redraws to a tight. So if the flush comes and pairs the board, then it is no good and the tight now gets paid off large. If the strait comes on the turn, then the tens have 10 outs of a remaining 44 cards to tighten up on the river. And if the tens tighten up on the turn then they have enormous implied odds against the hand that is drawing dead.

I can't tell you the exact odds without doing a fair amount of math, but I would say that the tens have about a 70% chance of winning the hand, but a much higher potential for making money.

I should mention that the straight flush has implied odds over the tight if both hit, but the chances of that happening are tiny as you need to hit one of 10 outs with one card and exactly one out with the other card. It hardly enters into the equation.
