Hey Roy,

I always enjoy your column when I get a chance to read it. From it I gather you play a lot at the Bellagio.

I've been to Vegas twice before and I've always had no problem finding a good $4/$8 HE game. Last trip I tried $8/$16 and although I won, it seemed that the players were pretty tough.

Got a question for you about the Bellagio: Is the $15/$30 game generally easier or harder than the $8/$16?

I will be in Vegas from the 16th-24th for the WSOP. How are the games during the WSOP?

Thanks

I'm not Roy Cooke, but I play him in a TV show ;-)

Roy doesn't normally play 15/30 Holdem but I'm sure
he would say that they are generally much more
aggressive games than the 8/16. Sometimes they
are wild and crazy, sometimes tight like you wouldn't
believe, etc. In other words....... IT DEPENDS!

There are a number of regular good players in both limits.

As for the games during the WSOP, there are a lot of strange
faces in the games and quite a few of them are knowledgeable
players. So, I would say it's harder (for a regular player) to judge
the quality of the table by face recognition. You need to watch for
a round or two to make a decent assessment.

Hi Joe..

I don't play either 8-16 or 15-30, so I am not the best judge to answer the question. Generally the lower the game....the lower the quality of players!

The games are generally very good during the WSOP...This year the WSOP is down, but the action is still pretty good!
