Poker Pages tourney question..., Big_Slick, 30. Apr 2003 20:02

I'm looking to join one of PokerPages free tournaments. The tournament I'm looking to join has 15 levels. Each level has a progressively larger Ante, SB, BB and chip requirement. It also states that each round is 10 minutes long.

Could someone please explain to me how this works along with any other advice? I've never played a tournament in my life, online or off.

Thanks in advance.

A good strategy for these tournaments is to play tighter than normal in the earlier rounds. try to win a couple pots and sit tight. try to avoid confrontations with big stacks.

In middle and later rounds play a few more hands than usuall so the antes and blinds don't eat up your stack. You can stay tight if you have a huge stack though.

Good Luck

I play in some of these tourneys too. i play under the name of DaNutz1127
what's yours, maybe well be at the same table
