| I would like to find out what the starting hand requirements are for omha high are. I play holdem but can't seem to get a hold on omaha. | ||

| Bob Ciaffone has a decent (very small) book on Omaha that is good for beginners. | ||

| Bob Ciaffones book would be the most valuable resource currently in print. For Omaha high, you are looking to build nut hands. Ace high flushes, nut full houses, nut straights. In order to do this you need to play EXTREMELY tight preflop. High straight combos like 8,9,10, J are excellent starting hands. If they are double suited, even better, but don't chase a flush with a 10 high spade draw. The flush in this instance would only be used as back up from a made straight or top two. The key to omaha High is tp get 4 cards that work together and dump if you don't connect with the flop. | ||

| Everything that you say is very valid. Also, Steve Badger wrote a lot about Omaha (and used to write for Cardplayer IIRC) that is available online and worth reading. | ||
