| Just had to put this out there cause it floored me. Just recently went from playing 25¢-50¢ at UB to 50¢-$1 tables. Seems like there are less loose passive players that want to see any hand to the river. Had two games going. Happened to be in the big blind on both at the same time. First one everyone folded around to me and I made 50¢. Good thing to as I had rags. Not even 3 seconds later same thing happens. Rags again. Just was surprised out how tight everyone was. I've never had that happen before let alone back to back like that. I wonder if it make a difference that you can select your move (check, fold, raise) before it gets to you. Maybe some of those that folded in late position might have stayed had they known that EVERYONE was folding in front of them. Just thought it was interesting for that to happen at such a low limit. In fact, I don't recall having ever seen a recommendation on changing the way you play based on the demonination of the chips. Paul Stine College Station, TX | ||
