| It's choosing the wrong game.Good players are grinding away in a tight game with players of the same caliber because there are less swings. But with the rake and all, they'll not likely to pull out a Win. Most players never improve. Most bad players stay bad. Most people develop bad habits that they never change. So if you want to be good at this game, find your weakness, and improve | ||

| Often tight games can be VERY lucrative as the players make errors in the play of hands. Also, many players play too tight, don't get value and are easily bluffed! Roy Cooke on 24. There are lots of players who play so tight, that every time they play, they come in for a raise. They generally don't play anything less than AQ from any position. These same players generally are easily bluffed. > on 24. | The biggest errors I see in the3 average player is playing too many weakish hands in the face of strong opponents and going too far with them . Also not playing thier best game all the time. there are socialogical factors at work in this one that have to do with group dynamics. Such as are described in Festingers concept of dissonance reduction and also Ones need for conforming to social influences. You might watch a few sociology programs on your public TV station for more information on these facinating subjects. on 24.
