| I think a bunch of A-hole senators are trying to get an act passed that would OUTLAW all internet gambling. The good news is that this will be nearly impossible to enforce, and likely will be very unpopular as polls of the general public show that over fifty percent of the public are OK with internet gambling. Jeez, with our economy in the dumps, you'd think they would want to encourage a growing multi-billion dollar industry, and find a way to tax the companies profits. Republicans always talk about how they want to get the "government out of our lives", but it always seems like they are the ones who want to regulate what we can do in the bedroom, read all of our emails, tap our phones, and now this. I think they are OK with freedom except for the "pursuit of happiness" part. Not that this is entirely partisan, I'm sure a few of the Democrats (Republicrats as I like to call them) will jump on the bandwagon as well. | ||
