| I am heading to Vegas in June. I am a new poker player and have been to a B& M card room a couple of times and will go a few more times before my trip. I want to play in Vegas but the person I am going with does not play. I may end up in a poker room on my own. Are there any rooms you feel more comfortable in than others? If limits matter trust me I will not be playing 10-20 or even close. Hope to stay in the 3-6, 4-8 range. | ||

| Hi, The Stardust hotel and casino offers all low limit hold-em games. The room is small and the decor is nothing great but they do have several games there that you would be interested in. The Mirage offers low limit hold-em games as well. They also have a great 4-8 Omaha game and several low limit stud games. I think you will feel quite comfortable in this poker room. The Bellagio offers a 4-8 hold-em game and sometimes they will spread a 2-4 game as well. Binion's horseshoe offers all low limit hold-em games but the place is a dump! There are other casinos in Vegas that have small poker rooms but the casinos mentioned here will give you a better selection to choose from. Good luck. Safe trip. 4 POKER:) | ||

| I'm not a female but I'm assuming you are anupscale person or you wouldnt be asking this question. My recommendations would be---Bellagio, Mirage, and Monte Carlo, with Monte Carlo being most comfortable for a new player. You might want to teach poker to your friend, its easy to learn. Goodluck, gary | ||

| I feel the most comfortable at Sahara. It's small, very low limit, kind of cozy. The floorpeople treat women extremely well. They watch out for us, they will not hesitate to bounce someone who is abusive in any way. They all treat women like they're daughters or little sisters :) Plus your non-poker playing friend will have tons of $1 blackjack to keep him/her happy. Felicia :) | ||
