Can anyone report back on the Wednesday and Thursday tourneys at the Mirage? Specifically, what kind of draw can be expected? 1 table, 5 tables????

I can't check which specific tournaments those are because Card Player's site seem to be having some SQL problems at the moment. However, I have seen theNo-limit Holdem tourney at the Mirage attract anywhere from 4 to 12 tables and I know folks who have won upwards of $8500 for first place. (This was a couple years ago and the pay structure may have changed.)

Thanks,
Would you be interested in meeting this Fall if I return to cheer on the Noble Men of Kyle?

Sure, Friday night is 5/10 - 2 orbits of holdem, 1 orbit of omaha (button calls high or hi/lo). We usually have a 30/30 NLHE tournament at the start of the night.

I've played Mirage tourneys a couple of times over the past few years. There have been 40-70 players each time. I like these tournaments. The blinds don't advance as terribly quickly as my local tournaments, and the players are a mixed bag of tourists and tough regulars that leads to a lot of dead money and interesting final table play.
