| I would like some help with tournament formats for 7-Stud and Texas holdem.I would like a percentage payout for 10 spots. | It really depends on the number of players, but a good blind structure for a nolimit holdem game is T300 with blinds of 1-2, 2-4, 3-6, 5-10, 10-20, 15-30, 25-50, 50-100, 75-150, 100-200, 150-300, 200-400, etc. To play out your final table, it is really subjective as to what a good payout is. Generally you want to give very little to your last 5 places. If the buyin is $100 and you have 100 players, you might pay the final table as follows: 1st -> $4500 2nd -> $2500 3rd -> $1200 4th -> $500 5th -> $300 6th through 10th -> $200 each. As a rule of thumb, first place should get about half the prize pool and it should get divided by two at each step down the chain. | ||
