| how would a zero rake,or 50c rake,or max $1 rake online will impact the win rate and which rake is reasonable? | ||

| hi jake-free, in answer to your question, it would be impossible for on-line casino's to not rake the games. that is where they make their money. 50 cents or 1 dollar is still unthinkable, however i feel a 2 or 3 dollar rake is fair. (PREFERABLY 2)! most casino's rake 4 dollars, and you should keep in mind that when you play on-line you are never taking anything from your bankroll to tip the dealers. that saves you alot of money, too. yes, of course the rake cuts away from your earnings, but so does tipping, valet parking at the casino's, gas money, etc. etc. etc.. 4 POKER | ||

| Brick and mortar casinos have a lot of variety in the rakes. At Brantford, where I play, rake is $5 on the 5-10 and other games are session-feed...so 10-20 takes $5 every half hour, 20-40 takes $7. 30-60 takes $8 and 50-100 takes $9. Online casinos have nobody to pay a salary to for throwing the cards, so they can afford to rake whatever amount they want for their bottom line. Thus rakes are generally always a bargain online and shouldn't affect your ability to beat the game by much. | ||
