I was wondering what I can do to change the situation of fl rooms

they cap the pots at $10 (25-50 cent games are the only games offerd)
and they take a 25 cent ante for the rake and all they play is 7 stud
they say they play holdem but even when there are 15-20 players on the board they refuse to open a holem game up. now I realize why hard rock just bought them and is keaping the same bull going on (cause there getting away with screwing the costumer) I thought card rooms tried to keep players happy. but these are the only places to go. but I also was dissapointed with the vegas rooms so I guess canterbury park in minnesota is the best there is and they treat every one great

I was in Naples a couple of weeks ago and ran into the same problem. I was not aware of any casino action but I saw an ad for the Seminole Casino, when I called they told they had 25-50 tables. What weird limits I thought( little did I know they were cents) When I drove over it was unreal. The rake was 3.00 including the jackpot in a $ 10 kimit pot. I played 3 hands. However, they had a tournament fo $62 HE.There were 75 or so players. I came in second but to play there is desparation. Are there any home games in the southwest region 20-40 or higher ? Hobart

A friend of mine is a dealer in Naples. It is a very much unbeatable game. The rake is gigantic as is the tournament house take. Basically, there is no way to play poker in Florida for a profit unless you're playing in home games. From what I understand though, Seminole does have hold'em and omaha.
