| I've read on hear and other places that Paradise Poker is the toughest internet poker room. I have been looking at Poker Stars and was wondering what it was like there. Is Paradise tougher at all limits or just the higher limits? I've been playing at Paradise(low limit) for a while and I love it. The only draw back is they dont offer tourneys that are not single table (I play ring games, but I would like to give tourneys a shot). What do you all think? Is Poker Stars a decent room or should I stick with Paradise? Which is tougher at low limits? Thanks in advance | ||

| If you want to play tourneys then Pokerstars is it ,in my opinion. THere are a wide variety of games and buyins. I have only played there and PlanetPoker online but I am always drawn back to PokerStars. I also like the FPP (frequent player points). Give it a try I think you may like it. Good luck! | ||

| I USED TO PLAY AT PARADISE BUT NOT ANY MORE.. GOT BAD VIBES FROM THE SHUFFLER. SOUNDS NUTS BUT TOO MANY MIRACLE FLOPS WHERE EVERYONE INVOLVED FELT GOOD ABOUT CONTINUING WITH THEIR HAND. KNOW WHAT I MEAN? I NOW PLAY AT POKER STARS AND I LOVE IT!! IT FEELS LIKE REAL POKER TO ME. NOT AS MANY GOOFY AND RIDICULOUS BAD BEATS. DON'T GET ME WRONG, POKER STARS ISN'T FILLED WITH PRO'S, YOU JUST WIN ALOT OF HANDS THAT YOU ARE EXPECTED TO WIN MORE OFTEN. GREAT SITE, CHECK IT OUT! | ||

| I think the low-limit ring games at Paradise are extremely tough unless you are lucky enough to find the rare table full of loose players. Contrary to the common wisdom, many of the low-limit players at Paradise are EXTREMELY tight. I suspect that many excellent, tight players have descended upon the Paradise low-limit tables expecting to chew up the beginners and casual players, only to find that they're playing against a table full of like-minded sharks. On the other hand, I find the low-limit single table tourneys at Paradise to be fun and profitable. Simple conservative play usually lets me outlast the few loose and wild players, and then aggressive play with a little luck often puts me in a paying position. I don't make any profit, but so far I've been lucky enough to win enough to keep playing. Because I don't take my online play very seriously, I haven't played any higher limit games at Paradise. I haven't compared with other web sites. If you're going to spend any amount of real time and money online, I would certainly encourage you to check out the other sites, just as I would encourage a live game player to check out several different card rooms. | ||

| I have played Paradise and Partypoker, with a little Ultimatebet. Paradise seems very tight compared to Partypoker. Ultimatebet seems between the two. This a "subjective opinion" and limited to low limit tables. That said, I also played a *lot* of $25 and $50 NL at Partypoker, and it is a real mixture of players. My theory is that since Partypoker has their Partypoker Millions Cuise qualification tournaments, they attract a broad variety of players of all skill levels, ... the resulting mix being slightly lower playing strength than Paradise where the "pure game" players go. Anyone else out there agree or disagree. It is only an opinion, but I hope it helps you Pkrrookie. | ||
