You have the ability to play in one of two 7 Card Stud High games. There are 7 other players seated in either of these 2 games . Each of these players as well as yourself is of a similar skill level. However none of these players will post an ante or a bring in bet.

The poker manager is getting very frustrated . He offers you one of these two propositions.

Proposition 1. Sit in game A and he will put in an amount equivalent to 1.666 times the small bet into the pot to get things started. No one has to put in a ante or a bring in bet. After this the game goes on as usual with the low card either completing to a small bet or checking.

Proposition 2. Sit in game B and he will put in an amount equivalent to 1 times the small bet into the pot and all the same rules apply.

There is no other difference in game A or game B. same type players, same rules, ect. ect.

Now it is obvious that most would rather sit in game A rather than game B. However this is really beside the point. Likewise, It is also obvious that most would play all the starting hands in game A that you would play in game B.

If you feel otherwise please feel free to comment.

Now here is the question.

What type starting hands would you be willing to play in game A that you would *NOT* be willing to play in game B?

Of the hands you would play in Game A , What types would you play if the game B proposition was 1.2 times ? OR 1.4 times ?

thanks,

timmer
