i found a beat up copy of his book, Poker-A guaranteed income for life. in a local used book store. there are some wacky ideas in it but many good ones as well and many of the exact same ideas on tells as john fox and yourself except written a decade earlier. did you ever know this guy? he claims to have beaten up on gardena for years.

Frank seems to have descended the sanity latter as he has gotten older. He published NeoTech after the book you site. It has even fewer good ideas and more wacky ones. He has a site, on line, that addresses these ideas in more detail. It started out as a rant against being cheated, turned into NeoCheating -- a manual on how to cheat -- and then wildly ranged to cover a slew of other topics that are far afield from poker.
You are correct about his book on poker, however. Some great ideas. I especially liked the idea of reading your opponent's cards by catching their reflection in their glasses or eyeballs!

....is this book is written in the exact same style as "play poker, quit work, sleep til noon" except a decade earlier. even the same references to women, smokers, and "religious types". i have to think this group, caro, fox, wallace knew each other. i bet there are some great stories.

Heh...I just love sitting at a table with a sunglasses player and tell him that I can see the cards in his glasses - throws a lot of people off pretty badly.

And Frank has some fun stories anyway - I think he's a better novelist than anything else.
