| I want to share a story about how your book of tells helped me in one of my college math classes. I had finished reading Mike Caro's book of tells and watching his videos a few weeks ago when I went into a review session for a huge midterm in the hardest of my math classes. Well anyway the person who was teaching the review session was our nervous TA grader who I had not yet seen up until this point. He let it slip to us that he had already seen the test so I thought it would be fun to see if I could pick up any 'tells' as to what questions would be on the test. Well sure enough about 5 minutes into the class (he made sure to go over the entire semester worth of work), he stopped himself for a second, nervously cleared his throat, and continued. I assumed this was because this was what one of the questions was on and he wanted us all to do well on the exam and because of this he got nervous at this confrontation. So I put a big star in my notebook next to the topic. Over the course of the review session he did the same thing 4 more times (He told us that there were only 5 questions on the exam). So the next few nights in addition to my usual studying I made sure to go over the material I had starred until I had it down cold. and to my delight, the 5 questions on the test came from exactly the material that I had starred. I may not be the best poker player, but it's amazing what information you can pick up after just one reading of that book and one viewing of those videos. Thanks Mike! James | ||
