sure fire way to keep track of bets in the pot?, jdsalinger, 4. Mar 2003 08:39

in a 15-30, 20-40 game it's a breeze because most of the times only a few players enter and a lot of times it doesn't reach the river. I play a lot of 6-12 as that is usually the game with soft competition. In those games a lot of pots are entered with 7+ players (a lot of times with raises) I try to keep track of their expressions and mannerisms when they they look at their hole and at the flop, the amount of bets - the rake - the drop for the badbeat jackpot and my own odds. By the river I've only remembered the starting amount in the pot post flop. And my estimates are usually off .5 to 2 big bets (if I when and get to count the chips) Is there an "easy" way that others have developed (without taking a lot of time and seeming to calculate) ?
