| Probably not. Because 90% of low limit players "THINK" they win. | ||

| My Paradise database has consistently shown about 42% winners and 57% losers (lower limit tables only). I would love to know what others have in their databases. | ||

| Well, it's really only my own data. I download my hand histories and use Poker Tracker. Other similar products have been talked about here before (Stat King I think and one other one). Check out www.pokertracker.com and you'll see what I mean. | ||

| I think that it's more an excercise for logic. Let's look at a typical 10-20 table. Most of the players would be winningish or break evenish 5-10 players, and then you add a fish or two. So you've got one big or two small fish paying everybody's session fees for the table. Now there are 7-8 players that are not me. Let's say that 2 of them are a BB/hour winners and I also want to win 1 BB/hour. We've got 3 or 4 players that have to lose 3 BB/hour at the table, but have their session fees paid for. So here's a table with 3 winning players and 7 losing players that is fairly typical. The thing is that the 3 winning players are there every day while the 7 losing players aren't around much. You have recreational players and rank beginners. You have compulsive gamblers and one time tryers. If they each show up every 4 days on average, then you've got 28 losing players and 3 winning players which gives you just about 10% of the players being profitable. Essentially I would say that the winning players play a lot and the losing players not too much, so the 90% figure loses some significance. | ||
