| I've seen players shuffle thier chips at the table using one hand. It looks pretty cool but I can't seem to get it down. Can any of the veterans help a rookie? Thanks. | ||

| I've seen them do it and it looks cool ... there was a chip shuffling icon in www.philhelmuth.com but it is gone now, that just repeats the one-handed shuffle of two stacks of chips. I have it on my computer. If I track down where it is, I'll put it's location on this message for you. In the meanwhile, win too many chips to shuffle ... :) gl | ||

| Practice practice pratice...If you can do this well it is the sign of a wasted life. Roy Cooke on 22. More important than practice is doing it right. Start with just 4 or 6 chips in two piles. Grip them in a similar fashion to the way you would grip a deck in the mechanics grip. Grab each stack with two fingers on the side and press them together - so your thumb and index finger are holding one stack and your ring and pinky are holding the other...your middle finger is free. Now, with your middle finger, lift the centre of the stacks up, while gently squeezing from the sides. When you have lifted the chips to a high enough angle, they should naturally just fall into place. You're not shoving them together, but dropping them together. Now, with this in mind, watch somebody do it and try to replicate it. BTW, anybody know of anybody who can shuffle three stacks together at one time? This is something I've been failing to find a good method for. | ||

I am working on that one with some, but little, success. As soon as I get it down I will let you know. Gets pretty boring playing less than 10% of hands! | ||
