| The Taj has a pretty good set up. There seems to be a lot of chaos at the Trop. Both are no smoking rooms. If you want to play 2-4 or 3-6, I would go to the Taj. | ||

| When's the last time you were there on a weekend? It's a mob scene... I'm not sure i've seen the chaos at the Trop that you have, either... | ||

| I've only played at the Taj, and it was awhile ago. Time rake started at 10-20 there, so this might be a consideration. They also permitted time pots, which rewards tight play and punishes loose play. The way this worked is that one player would put up the time rake per half hour for all other players who were involved. If you didn't want to play time pots, you just paid the half hour rake to the dealer for the house. The players involved in the time pots would then pay back the player who put up the time when the first two pots were scooped that exceeded a pre-determined amount. At 10-20 with all ten players participating, the first two players who scooped a pot over $125 in the next half hour would pay back $25. I never saw how the situation of less than two qualifying pots within a half hour would have been handled. However I only paid time once in a three day 28 hour stretch, amazing! | ||

| Guy- The only places one would go are the Taj Mahal or the Tropicana. (Borgata, Owned by MGM is opening up this summer with 44 tables) Taj Mahal is where the action is always going to have games going at all limits holdem and stud from 2-4 up to to 50/100. Weekends 200400 or 300600 as well. The atmosphere is nice and Friday Saturday nights will be packed. Fortunately with 65 tables there will never be a long wait for the game you want. Regards, Daniel | ||
