Not sure how low you're looking, but the "nicer" places like Mirage and Bellagio have 2/4-3/6 games.

Neither the Bellagio or Mirage has a 2-4 game. The Mirage does have a 3-6 game and the Bellagio has a 4-8 game.

The Palms casino has a nice 2-4 limit holdem game. Free lessons daily at noon, M-F, games starts after. The lowest limit on the strip is $3-6 at the Mirage. Best tourneys $20-$60 buy in are at the Orleans, a locals casino (free shuttle from Barbary Coast). They have tourneys daily at noon and seven PM. Check Cardplayer.com for the schedule,

The smallest game you will find on the Strip is 3-6 which is available at the Mirage, Stardust, and Circus Circus. You can play 4-8 at the Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Monte Carlo, Flamingo, and Sahara. The Excalibur has a unique 2-6 spread limit game which is far better than a 3-6 game if you adjust properly (because you can raise to $8 pre-flop and bet $6 on the flop).

For the rake concious, the Mirage and Bellagio are the worse places to play low limit hold 'em on the Strip. They each have a $4 total rake without any jackpots or bonuses. All the small poker rooms have the same $4 total rake but have various types of bad beat jackpots and high hand bonuses. Essentially, you are freerolling at the smaller rooms compared to the Bellagio and Mirage.

If you go a little off the Strip, you can play 2-4 at the Palms.

Really? Has this been changed? I go to LV twice a year and generally play 3/6 to 8/16 at Mirage and Bellagio. I used to play places like Luxor, MB, MC etc but it seemed like their rake was worse? I thought the low games at Mir/Bel capped at $3 rake? Unless changed I'm pretty sure they did anyway. The other places with the spread games I thought maxed at $4 and raped you for the extra jackpot $1 on top of that.

Is there anywhere on the web to get a good rundown of all current rake structures? I'm going back out there soon :)

The Mirage and Bellagio increased their rake to $4 total about half a year ago. They did this for all games which don't have a time charge.

The small rooms had and still have a normal $3 rake plus and additional $1 rake for jackpots and bonuses (Flamingo actually has a $0.50 bonus rake).

I live in Vegas and am 100% sure about my information about the Mirage, Bellaio, Monte Carlo, and Mandalay Bay. I'm only "very sure" about the other small rooms which I'm only occasionally in.

Thanks for the info. I'm going back out in April. Don't really play 3-6/4-8 much anymore though. Usually 6-12 and 8-16 but plan to try 10-20 and 15-30 for the first time this trip.

I find the 15-30 games at Bellagio to be pretty good, if you pick your table carefully.
