| When I watch some poker telecasts, I hear the commentators talking about AK being a huge underdog to say QQ. If flushes and straights are not a factor., the chances to improve an AK are greater to improve a QQ. So how much additional weight are these odds giving to the hand that is going to be the winner if neither hand improves?. QQ has a 1 in 24 to improve where a AK has a 1-6 chance to improve. I am confused | ||

| You write the answer yourself. AK has a 1-6 chance to imrpove. But if the AK doesn´t improve then QQ wins. So 5 out of 6 the QQ holds up just by themselves. And QQ has another advantage, it blocks straight possability for the AK hand. | ||
