| A while back. I posted the question of the possibility of "miricle hands" being programed at online poker sites. After reading the replys to my question and the comments of many others, especially B&M players, I'm pretty much convinced that this is just the nature of the game and that no hanky panky (at least of this type) is going on. That being said I would still feel a whole lot better if these sites coul be located on US soil and regulated by our government instead of the governments of 3rd world countries. That will happen only when enough of us get up from the table long enough to VOTE and try to get these right wing religeous extremist who like to run our lives out so that legal regulated games can be available to all who wish to play. | ||

| First, when addressing a public forum, you should probably try to avoid generalizing people. There are probably many "right wing" people here as well as "religious" people here. Secondly, if you thing more conservative people are the ones trying to run your life, you have a great deal of learning to do in the world of politics. I suggest you begin by reading any historical documents you can get on the Federalist vs. Anti-federalist debates. Finally, the primary reason they are offshore is because of taxes as well as the ability to operate without regard to state laws. In TN it is illegal for me to gamble--however, the state of TN will probably not prosecute an international company. | ||

| close to what mickblueeyse said......if it is government regulated and you use it as a big source of your income then they are gonna start taking a big cut of your winnings. No one wants that, but i live in canada home of the truly free where we get to keep all of our winnings. | ||
