| Concerning the new RGPM newsgroup.... Not that I was that geared up to go through it, but I was thinking about downloading the newsreader to speed up my reply access (Google being a nightmare) I've checked it several times, have never downloaded the software or signed up. However, today, when I went to it, I was greeted by a new login window "RGP censored".. with a list of people who have been "barred from posting or reading rgpm" The illustrious list includes, as of today, the following names: Mike Caro Dan Contreras DaVoice Eleaticus Chris Fiorentino Andy Glazer Octo the Genarian Irish Mike Jarrett40 JTAutry Dave Keiser T Pascal Darryl Parsons Craig Permenter Peg Smith Barry and Jeff Shulman Whiskeytown (end of current list) Here's hoping Easy E can get added to that list as well- what are the rejection criteria, anybody? I can't define it by imagining the supposed crimes of the people on this list.... Mike Caro? Andy Glazer? This will be our modern version of the "Banned Books? Where can I get them?" effect- I'll be motivated to check these posters out to see WHY they might have been banned.... at least the ones that aren't obvious from my experiences reading them in the past.... Do any of the Infamous 17 have comments on how they became so notorious? If Andy and Mike have been banned, I don't know if I wanna be accepted... | ||

| As I posted on RGP - the names on this list have either advocated a better moderated newsgroup, created one, or just plain ol' gave up on RGP. I've never been to RGP moderated, but to clairify, this is not a usenet group, and in fact, it's not even a real URL, just a free rent-a-url for some free webserver with some cheapo newsreader software...not worth the spit it's shined with Having said that, I am DAMNED PROUD to be there on that list with those list of names...I feel like I have truly come into my own when I get lumped with Mike, DaVoice, Barry and Jeff Schuman, Peg Smith...I feel I just got blacklisted by the idiot's regime, and that's just fine by me. I wish people spoke of me with the same admiration and respect I give some of the names on that list (and maybe others...I just ain't met them yet) Already, the fight is brewing on RGP about other people insulted at not being on this list and trying to figure out what they have to do to get on it...LOL - But this is my last word on the subject here...this is a poker forum....now about this problem I have about playing JJ in early position...LOL RB on 5. | Thanks for the note! I had not seen the website or followed the majority of the troll threads. It gets pretty boring: You post something, then a bunch of goofballs intentionally misrepresent what you say make a bunch of false claims, you try to clarify - and so on. Oh well. | ||
