Top of the afternoon all
I play low limits 1/2 3/6 at my local casino.
I am having a slight problem playing against players that take the attitude that any 2 cards can win. I am fairly tight but aggressive player. I can play with the rocks and manic players and do quite fine. It’s the any 2 card players that I can’t figure out and I am consistently amazed when we are at show down and they have an 8 4 os and get 2 pair on the turn or river and I have a top pair with a decent kicker. In most cases I will just check and call that type of player, unless I believe that i have the best of it and at that point I will punish them. Any other suggestions in this situation?

Thank you
Peace
Louied

Try checking and raising instead of calling...or better yet only play cards you feel comfortable with raising with. But work on not being a calling station. If you don't have a hand after the flop or damn good odds of getting one in two draws...don't "chase and pray".
