First off, let me state my thanks for this very informative forum and the effort it takes to maintain it, superb work gentlemen. Now to the question at hand; I am planning on playing in the new weekday tournaments held at Casino Arizona in Scottsdale on an upcoming trip. The structure is unique in that there is no buy-in or entry fee just a charge of $7.50 per half-hour (or possibly hour). Thus the longer you last the more you pay. There are no rebuys, and there is a guaranteed prize pool of $12, 500 for both the Limit and No-Limit Holdem. I have some thoughts of my own but I don't want to influence the discussion as of yet. Thanks in advance and, as always, take it easy.

Hey Kid, first off let me tell you if your coming from cincinnati you are gonna love Phoenix. The weather is perfect this time of year and since the closest poker room to you is ceasers riverboat in louisville ky your gonna love the convience and action of poker here. Those tournaments your talking about cost me $63 both times I played. Its $7 per half hour and they pay the final 2 tables. I made the final 4 both times but thats only good in college basketball. Anyways I prolly have played with you before because I lived in cincinnati until I moved out here a couple of months ago. Ill right more later but right now there are only me and 3 others left in this online tournament.
