| I play 4/8 mostly, it's what I'm comfortable with. I'm building my bank roll and planning on becoming a full time poker player. My question today is, How much of your winnings should be added onto your bank roll, and how much should be put towards your bills? Should this be done every session, every week or every month? How are these amounts determined? I appreciate all feedback. Hector | ||

I suggest you may want to scalp off any further wins and use the resulting moneys to build up some financial stability (CD's MM's Roths equitable bond funds ect) . this goes a long way towards making those 3SD losing hours feel not quite so bad. forget any pro notions till you can whip the 20 or 30 game in your area. | Hi Hector I think this depends on your bills. Pay your bills and put the rest into your bankroll. When you get 200 times the upper limit and 6 months living expenses you are financially prepared to take on the poker world for a living. That said, it does not mean you are mentally equipped or capable of surviing the test of time. Roy Cooke Roy Cooke on 18.
