I would like some clarification on soley the "low" portion of this game. I will give a sample hand and would like it if anyone could reply with the correct winner. The examle is as follows: (Please ignore the "high" portion of the hand.) Two players..... Player A holds A-7-K-10 Player B holds 2-3-J-Q..... the board shows.........8-6-4-K-Q

Does Player A's hand win the low with : A-4-6-7-8
OR
Does Player B's hand win the low with: 2-3-4-6-8

The real question, does the ace supercede (out kick) the duece? Eventhough, Player B's hand has a lower sum total, (2+3+4+6+8=23 vs. Player A 1+4+6+7+8=26) who wins the low?

Thank you for the opportunity and the advice.

Until the next hand,

Player B wins. You go from the top down for the low. The 8-6-x-x-x beats the 8-7-x-x-x.
