Hi guys, Yes PokerVault is not up yet...but we are getting close!

We have been completely redesigning our PokerScene.com website, and haven't been keeping up to date with all the postings...sorry.

Do you want my BOOK of all the details about what it takes to get ten pokersites to agree on anything, lol, or do you just want to ask questions?

I will try to keep Mike up to date, in fact I was writing him an email today, since it was the first day I have had a chance to breathe!

The simplest way to view PokerVault is to think of the software that the sites use to move your money from one table to another, but expand it to include moving from SITE to SITE.

You don't pay a big fee to move your money from table to table, it is just a click of a button and it is back in your bankroll.

Well, now imagine how nice it would be to have a clearinghouse that let you keep your bankroll in your own account and take it with you when you wanted to play a different site.

The fees would only be for security and paying for staff and computers and an accounting firm to watch that the money was taken care of properly. There is a software SECURITY development process that we are working on now, and it is BORING stuff, but NECESSARY to make this work.

The sites join pokervault, and the players have their bankroll...ATM cards seem like a natural way to withdraw funds, but deposits are a bit of a nuisance now. Actually Neteller could fund a PokerVault account, but for the new player, it would take a few days with EFT to establish $$$ in an account.

We are still working on that one, because the goal is to INCREASE the number of players who feel comfortable with poker, but not giving out drivers' license information or credit card information, especially when they have to give it to EVERY SITE THEY PLAY!

PokerVault will be regulated by a site council and a player council and the only rules for joining PokerVault is to keep player money safe, and separate from operating expenses, pay the REASONABLE fees, and promise to run a VERIFIABLY HONEST DEAL

...it is impossible for the sites to be responsible for collusion, but they should be able should be willing to cooperate and come up with a method to guarantee an honest RNG!

Here are our basic premises in no particular order, and the caps are intentional! We wish to be heard, loud and clear!

AN HONEST SITE MAKES MONEY...NO REASON TO CHEAT!

PLAYERS BRING THE MONEY TO THE TABLE, SUPPLY AND DEMAND WORK!

OPINIONS ARE NOT FACT...TWO SIDES TO EVERY EVENT

PUBLIC ACCUSATIONS WITHOUT PROOF ARE EITHER SLANDER OR LIBEL, I forget which;-)

COMPETITION IS GOOD FOR POKER, BUT SITES SHOULDN'T FAIL AND TAKE PLAYERS' BANKROLLS WITH THEM

POKER IS A GAME OF SKILL...AND ONLINE POKER IS WONDERFUL!

PERCEPTION IS REALITY, if the real world dosn't perceive online poker as honest, they will stay away!

COOPERATION IS NECESSARY BETWEEN PLAYERS AND SITES TO STIMULATE ONLINE POKER

IGNORING A PROBLEM DOESN'T REALLY MAKE IT GO AWAY
