| Hi all, I recently got a copy of tournament texas hold'em (wilson software), and I'm having a blast playing around with it. About a month or two ago when I asked you folks for advice on what books to buy to get my feet wet with hold'em you definately came through with some great suggestions...I bought winning low limit hold'em and hold'em for advanced players and I've been slowly wearing the covers off them since then. Now I'm hoping to get into tournament play and I'm hoping you can suggest some additional titles. I really like sklansky, even though sometimes it seeems I have to reread his passages about a dozen times before I understand them, but his tournament book has only marginal reviews on amazon (3 out of 5 stars), so I'm wondering if that's my best bet or if there's something better out there. I plan to concentrate mainly on single table limit hold'em tournaments, although I will be playing some multitable limit tournaments as well. | I would definately recommend Sklansky's tournament book and in my opinion I would rank it as his second best book after Theory of Poker. He does an excellent job of showing how proper tournament strategy can be very different from standard ring game play. Very clear and well demonstrated. Lee | ||

| I improved my performance in Multi table NL & PL turney's after reading Pot-Limit & No-Limit Poker by Ciaffone & Reuben. You might wanna add this to your libary. Regards Harry. | ||
