| I'll be in Vegas 2/15 thru 2/19. I'm sure most of the "Big Dogs" will be in Commerce, Hollywood Park, or maybe Paris, France, which is fine with me. I'll be staying at the Orleans, so I'll spend a large part of my poker time there. I'm looking for somewhere else to play with more than just local rocks... namely, tourists like myself (because I think I'm better than the average tourist) who don't mind playing for a good sized (low limit) pot. Any suggestions? I've been to Bellagio, Monte Carlo, Flamingo, Excalibur... anywhere else? | ||

| The Luxor has a poker room as well (From what I hear) but it is shoved way in the back like that uncle know one wants to talk to at Christmas. Out of all the Casino's on the Strip that have Poker rooms I think the Mirage is my favorite. The room is in the middle out in the open. (Not hidden in some dark corner like most. | ||

| Palms has a poker room too...I think they played pretty low limits (2/4 holdem was the lowest). We played there in Sept. and was a mix of retiree rocks and college kids without a clue. I heard since MTV aired Realworld from the Palms that the is now packed with college kids. Probably some easy money now. | ||

| Palms has tremendous 4-8 half kill holdem with 1/2 blinds. West end of the casino targets locals, east end targets high end players. They have filmed MTV, CSI episodes, Playboy anniversary parties, etc. at the hotel. Best action is late night , after the night club lets out. The best "wise guy" move would be to play the 7 PM tourney at the Orleans, take the free shuttle to the GoldCoast, and walk across the street for late night at the Palms. If you like to sit at the the table, eat free food, smoke a cigarette, talk on the cell phone, and oh yeah. . . play poker, YOU MIGHT BE A PALMS PLAYER! | ||
