ive been playing poker for 2 years now. started in a $1-2 house game(followthequeen threes and nines wild sort of game), won consistently, read sklansky's books, ran over the game, moved up to $5-10 house games of holdem and omaha h/l declare, ran over them, currently play $10-20 and $20-40 house games and win consistently. ive played in casinos several times (maybe 12-15 total trips to biloxi or new orleans), beat the $4-8 holdem but consistently lose at $10-20. i'm looking forward to the world poker open, my first tournament, plan to play many satellites, with usual dreams about getting lucky and winning one of the main events. for the past year, poker has been my sole source of income and it has treated me well. i aspire to play in bigger games as well as the tournament circuit. however, i am realistic enough to know that my success in relatively high dollar local games comes mainly from my opponents poor play and lack of knowledge. having read all the good poker books, but not being located close to a b&m room, i find it hard to improve my game. after approx. 40 hours of online play, i decided i didn't like it (i broke even), too easily has the effect of a video game. so how can one improve ones play if playing 4-5 times in local games where im already the best player?

Can I get a loan?

you are always improving... at least I am. But I damage my bankroll online. My cousin is Brenden Shanahan for the Detroit RedWings. I saw that on ebay the other day one of his jerseys is going for $4,000
My mom is going to write him a letter maybe he'll send me a jersey.

Then I can play at big limits like ive always dreamed. Thanks cousin!
