Hi Jim

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading your CardPlayer articles.

Not to take anything away from the other writers( most of them are really good) or other pros who have written books, but at this point in my poker development, your articles are making me think much more about the game than anything else.

The way you present hands and provide the thought process that should be involved when analyzing the hands nothing short of brilliant. Your articles are simple, short, concise and (for me ) very thought provoking.

Your latest article, although just a condensed version of online discussions, has conviced me I must buy your Middle limit hold'em book. Have you written anything else on Hold'em?

While I'm handing out well deserved praise, Roy Cooke's "Some of my Best Advice" was awsome. If there is one thing i'm going to read before my next game it's Roy's article.

Thanks for the great articles Jim and Roy.

Mark

Thanks Mark!

I appreciate the kind words. Poker writers don't write for the money but more as a form of self-expression. We like knowing that are articles are appreciated.

I have no plans to write another book. The current book, "Middle Limit Holdem Poker" is selling quite well and we will probably have to have a second printing early next year.

Warm Regards,

Jim Brier
