| Well, big surprise, I am back with yet more newbie questions. Thanks to all those that answered my last posts, your answers were quite helpful. Anyway, I have two questions this time: 1). For anyone(experienced) with Turbo Texas Hold'Em v.5, how good is the advice given (i.e./ fold, call, bet raise etc?) I mean are the plays generally too pasive/aggressive and too loose/tight, or just right? I play the program a lot and I don't want my game to become changed for the worse because of it. 2). How much looser should I play when the table is short handed? Clearly it is hard to be very specific with an answer to this question, I am just looking for some guidelines. Thanks, Ben | ||

| Your questions are good ones, but you can easily answer them yourself by taking advantage of the research capabilities that come with Turbo Texas hold'em. Select a lineup that closely mirrors those people who play in your regular game, and test a variety of hands that you consider borderline or questionable. If you use the "repeatable deal" feature that comes with the Turbo software, you can eliminate any variability that would stem for the random nature of the cards themselves, and see how hands play short-handed versus full-handed, and you could also test the relative strength of a variety of pre-flop holdings against a lineup that performs just like the players you go up against on a daily basis. Hope this helps... Lou Krieger | ||
