2/4 blinds, pot limit omaha hand. We are 9 handed, and I pick up Ac2cJhJd in the cutoff. I, by far, have the deepest stack at the table at around 1600. I've been running over the game, and there has been multiple comments about how I can't have a good hand everytime. Although I have had the goods everytime I have been to a showdown.

4 limpers, I limp, button folds, SB calls, BB raps the table. 7 players, $28. Flop comes 223 rainbow. 5 checks, 1 limper bets the pot. I come over the top for a pot size raise of $84. UTG then check-raises all-in for another raise of around $100. First bettor folds, and its to me.

Its a 350 dollar pot, and it costs me 100 to call.

Whats my play?

You have five outs twice against deuces full, three outs twice against treys full, plus runner runner aces. Let's say the running aces balance the possibility he also has a pair bigger than jacks for a redraw, so we'll ignore them. Both hands are equally likely, so you have an average of four outs twice if he's full. He might have a big wrap with A654 and backdoor flush possibilities. He may also have an A2s type hand with another pair like you, which is more likely than the wrap. You need around 5:1 pot odds with four outs twice, and you're only getting 3.5:1. So it's a matter of how likely he isn't already full. Knowing nothing about this player, but considering it was an all-in check re-raise, I would think he's much more likely to be full than otherwise. Without a good tell, I'll reluctantly give up.

I was ready to fold, but I took a few more seconds to think about it. I came to the conclusion that I couldn't see many hands he would call UTG with that contained either 33 or 32. For that reason, I decided to call, although I really wanted to fold.

He turned over QQ77. Fortunately, neither a Q or a 7 hit on the turn or river.

Just wondering what everybody else thought of the call. Everybody at the table seemed to think it was an easy call, so I'm glad to see somebody else backs up my fold instinct.

The really important question is how deep is your opponent. Does he have another $1000 in front of him or is he almost all-in. Of course you need to know whether or not he would make this play without being full. Not knowing the player I would lean toward calling if he has a lot of chips or very few but folding if he has somewhere in the 500 range. Now it's time to read the results.
