| All fold to me in middle position with AhQd. I raise. The only caller is the bb. The flop comes down Ts Jh 3s. The bb bets, I raise and he calls. The rurn is 7s. The bb check and I take my free card. The river brings 8d. The bb bets and I...... | ||

| When I have an unimproved AK or AQ, I like to be the aggressor to a certain extent. It depends on the kind of game and your opponent. The fact that your opponent bet into you means either he's at least slightly imaginative or you're drawing. My opponents are generally pretty straightforward and passive. If I were in your shoes (against the opponents I usually face), I would have at least thought about folding on that flop, given the size of the pot. Of course, you've probably got 10 outs there, so the raise is good if you get (and take) a free card on the turn. If you raise the flop for a free card, fine. If you raise thinking you're ahead, I think that's a mistake. You got the free turn and you took it. I think you can safely fold the river, though. I may be losing some EV, but I don't call many bets on the river with an unimproved AK or AQ. We'll see what others say. Jeff | ||

If he holds a 3,7,8,9,10, or a J he wins, if he holds a small pocket pair or flush draw he wins, if he holds AK he wins.....i would let this one go. | ||

| You muck your A Q. I really like how you raised on the flop though. I would have played it exactly the same. You got your free cards and didn't improve so you muck your hand. I think you played the hand perfectly. (If you fold on the river) | ||

| Fold Of all the hands your opponent would be likely play in this situation, you can only beat KQ. I'm folding here even if the opponent is VERY loose and likes to bluff. He may have also been looking to check-raise. Mark | ||
