| IMHO the following is the best gall-darned poker tip in history of mankind. And with out a doubt probably the most usefull one you'll ever get . And its free..... The Simplest Truth About Beating Poker. "The main secret to winning at poker is simply to play your best game all the time. I know, that's too silly to mention. But, apparently, most players don't do it. Do you realize that you can give away a whole month's worth of disciplined poker profit in one night. So, it isn't good enough to play your best game most of the time. All of the time is what you should strive for" - Some Mad Genius | ||

| This is a good tip, there's no doubt; it's undeniable. Most tautologies are. Which makes most tautologies pretty damned useless. I mean no disrespect to Mike Caro, I worship him as much as the next guy, but if your best game isn't very good, then playing your best game all the time won't get you very far. I read this tip of Mr. Caro's early in my poker education, and I remember being very frustrated by it. I was trying to put together a best game! "Give me something I can use!" was my plaintive wail. Now that I've got some hours under my belt, I can see the wisdom in it. But tips like this really piss off newbies. :) Jeff | ||

| Thats not a bad point Jeffrey, but its still a tip that is so blindingly true that its easy to lose sight of it. I tilted quite badly for the first time that I can remember last week, playing online pot-limit games, and set my winnings back by about three weeks in the space of about six hours of play. That is so frustrating! | ||
