"I felt joy when I saw the flop, J-9-7 with two clubs. I had flopped a gutshot-straight draw (although one likely to induce a split) and the nut-flush draw"

Roy, if this game was loose-aggressive, how could you make the "likely to induce a split" decision so easily? Wouldn't the T have run you into a KQ (even KQc) in this game? Or didn't you deem that as very likely, if you had hit the gutshot?

Hi Easy E

Yes, you are right that I may make a straight and lose the hand to a better straight. The point I was trying to make was that it was a one card straight that has a greater propensity to split when you make one. I probably did not write that sentence as well as I could have!
