More Luck in Limit or NL tourney (beginning) Mike?Roy?, Daniel Horowitz, 4. Nov 2002 12:07

I am wondering whether a limit or NL tourney has more luck involved in getting past the early stages.
I figure that in a Limit tourney you could legitimately not get enough hands to play with and easily be blinded out by the quick blind escalation. With a No limit tourney even if you get nothing great to play with you can usually make plays and make it to later rounds.
Later stage in the tourney I think Limit still has more inherent luck since you need to consistently get cards and hit flops to win.....whereas in NL you hopefully do not have to see many flops and when you do obviously luck is involved.
Thanks
Daniel

One sure experience i can speek from is that in limit events they go much furthur then N/L whether its early or late..
In N/L events i find they can be unpredictable as to how they play..whether it be early or late..
Of course i speek of the table I`m sitting at..
The luck factor to me favours the limit events for reasons of bet size..from early to middle play..
