| I read with much interest Mike Caro's recent Caro's Corner article on online Poker. He gave a partial list of the advantages and disadvantages. I was astounded though that he left off the most obvious and prevelant online disadvantage of them all - "collusion". | ||

| He does Breifly mention. I am sure he will add as he continue's with it. here is a copy and paste of #4 and #5 in the article. 4.Despite online poker management’s ability to look back in history and scrutinize the play, you not to be able to know for certain that your opponents are not on the phone talking to each other about the cards they hold. 5.You have to worry about the possibility of one opponent playing more than one hand in a single game. | Well, it's not like collusion never happens in B&M. To me, the biggest point missing from that article is the difference in rake. At least from the standpoint of someone like myself who doesn't live in Vegas where's there's a lot of competition, and hence lower rakes. The only games in my area are all $5/max rake where Paradise is $3. I heard some where there's no competition it can be high as $7! That's HUGE and the primary difference maker in my preferring online to live. Ed | ||
