| In the few heads up tourney (final two texas holdem) situations I've witnessed the dealer was the small blind and the other player the big blind. The dealer acted first and then on the flop it reversed back to normal and the dealer acted 2nd. Wouldn't the dealer be the big blind (being 2nd to the left of himself) and act 2nd on the deal also? | ||

| Hi Joel No, the way you first stated it was correct. Since the big blind is considered an action, the action is on the little blind (dealer) first. From then on the hand plays as a normal (ring game) hand would! Roy Cooke on 29. | So is that why the blinds are reversed? the non-dealer is made the big blind because it is considered the first action, even though it effectively makes the dealer actually act first? | ||
