| I meant to ask, does having a background in computer generated random numbers give an edge to the person with that background over some who lacks that background. | ||

The answer was, no -- if the mathematical algorithm used to generate random numbers is credible and efficient, even the developer would have no advantage in predicting the next card over someone without expertise in the field.
