Short handed tables, 3Kings, 13. Sep 2002 20:45

I have enjoyed playing $5-10 hold'em at a 5 player max table. My question is do I open up my playeble hands such as K-7o, Q-4s, any A. I know one thing I shold know is the players i'm playing against. Spending $7 every 5 hands though, I have to make that up with stealing, don't I.

Yes, you can make it up by stealing...assuming that your opponets are of the texture that you can steal from.

Yes...in shorthanded games the blinds do come up fast and you do need to make adjustments to accomodate that fact. What those adjustments are is a funtion of how your opponents are playing the game. The concepts of adjustment are the same as a ring game.

Usually, your opponents will know this and will play differently because of this, also.
