| Obviously, LL online is going to have a pretty big Standard Deviation no matter who's playing but I've been noticing most of my sessions end up fairly lopsided either plus or minus. After 50 sessions (Avg 1.33Hr/Session) I'm up 2.5 BB/Hour but my swings have been huge considering the stakes. I've lost my intial buy-in (30xBB) 4 times while losing a quarter to half 5 times. My winnings have been just as lopsided. Tripled buy-in twice, Doubled three times and the rest of the time usually at least a third of the buy-ins. Is anyone else getting this much variance in play? Is this a fairly normal ? My live play also resembles the above but my live sessions run longer (but with less hands/hr) and are usually around the 2 BB/Hr range although with a couple of promotions and Bad Beat Jackpots I'm ahead more than that. | ||

| I don't think the conventional standard of one big bet per hour is accurate in either low-limit or online play. The swings in both low-limit and online will be large. When I was young (that was a long time ago) and playing in games in neigborhood cardrooms in Washington State I averaged over 4 big bets per hour (The games did play like craps tables).
