| Roy your article AA is getting quite the debate at 2+2..We have now also got into the debate in our wednesday discussion group...I absolutely know your decision was right and a very basic conclusion based on the wildness of the game etc... What I dont understand is why the response its getting... We met once Roy at the bellagio during the poker meeting and hope someday to see you face to face and discuss how our decisionmaking is going..I`m coming down the week of sept 9-13 and am attending a barbecue the group is putting together and you know your always welcomed .. I think jan and Linda are busy that day sept 11th.. jim | ||

| I don't understand why the decision even took the time that it did. It seemed to me to be fairly automatic that the AA hit the muck... | ||

| Yes, it is getting a lot of discussion. There has been a lot of debate about overpairs to scaty flops like three straights (with two flush) cards and three to a flush. It is interesting that some of the posters (including Mason) like calling it down with the big pair. | ||

| Perhaps the basis of many on this hand to see it through is that since they`re all mostly drunk tired and loose is that no one is considering thier holdings preflop and just gamblin...But still with the three flush all within major draws I would abandon ship against any lineup of 7 players. If anyone doesnt have one of Roys books I suggest STRONGLY that you invest in one of these gems.. They`re absolutely thought provoking articles and yet true to Roys character he throws in some light hearted humor... jim on 23. | So you were good on the flop, but with soooo many ways to lose the pot, I still agree with your fold. | ||
